Please be advised that nominating petitions are now available online in State of Illinois 2025
Candidate's Guide at www.elections.il.gov, or by contacting Plato Township Clerk, Beth Gehrke, at
847-697-2538 or 847-922-2584, Candidates may circulate petitions beginning August 20, 2024,
for the Consolidated Election to be held on April 1, 2025, for the following elected positions,
each for four-year terms:
Township Supervisor (1)
Township Trustee (4)
Township Clerk (1)
Township Assessor (1)
Township Highway Commissioner (1)
Petitions must be filed with the Township Clerk at the Plato Township Hall, 10N924 Rippburger
Road, Plato Center, IL, on November 12-18, 2024. The Clerk's office hours on Tuesday,
November 12th are from 8:00AM to 1:00PM. Hours on Monday, November 18th, are from
3:00PM - 5:00 PM. Filings made outside of those hours between the dates of November 12-18,
2024, will be accepted by appointment. Filings will not be accepted before 8:00AM on
November 12th, or after 5:00PM on November 18th. Candidates may call for an appointment
with Clerk Gehrke at 847-697-2538, or 847-922-2584.
